Synopsis: The disappearing footpaths in Hyderabad are inexorably taking away a slice of the city’s culture. There is an urgent need for long-term and accelerated interventions that stem the deterioration of this finite asset and increase their productive life and sustainability while driving down the economic and environmental costs of constructing and maintaining new pavements.
